I am a second-year PhD student at MIT IDSS, working on Statistics and Machine Learning under the supervision of Professor Tamara Broderick. I hold a master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge (Part iii), focused on Statistics, Probability, and Optimization, and a BS in Applied Mathematics and a BA in Economics from ITAM, Mexico.
Research
My current research interests include mathematical statistics, machine learning, and causal inference, with applications in the social sciences. I enjoy both theoretical and applied work and in the past, I have worked with randomized control trials to understand and mitigate social problems.
